FAQ

Common questions

Does CareSign replace my EHR?
No, and that's deliberate. CareSign is the field documentation and compliance layer: signatures, visit proof, readiness, credentials, and mileage. It works alongside your EHR and billing stack, and its exports (payroll CSV, mileage CSV, evidence packets) are built to feed them.
What does it cost?
Pricing is per agency and depends on your size. We'll walk through it on the demo call, in plain numbers. Early customers get preferred terms.
How long does onboarding take?
CareSign is designed to onboard in days, not months: upload the forms you already use, place fields once, invite your staff, and the field app is ready. There's no data migration because we work alongside your existing systems.
Is my data safe?
CareSign runs on HIPAA-eligible cloud infrastructure under Business Associate Agreements, with encryption in transit and at rest, per-agency tenancy isolation, role-based access, and an immutable audit trail. The full posture is on the Security & Compliance page.
What devices do nurses need?
The field app is iPhone-first: a real native iOS app, not a wrapped website. The office portal runs in any modern browser. Patients and physicians signing remotely just need a phone or computer with a browser; no app install.
Do you support hospice or personal care?
CareSign is built for Medicare-certified home health first. Hospice is on the roadmap as a same-platform mode. If that's you, tell us. Roadmap order follows real agencies.
