Our goal

We want caresignhealth.com to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, or captions. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

We check every page with automated accessibility testing and by keyboard. Pages work with a keyboard alone and show a visible focus outline, honor your device's reduced-motion setting, reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling, and describe their images in text. Each agency film has closed captions and a text version on its page.

Known gaps

The small phone pictures on some pages are images of the app; their tiny labels are not meant to be read at that size, and the text beside each picture describes the same screen. The two-minute film on the Watch page has captions but no text version on the page yet.

Signing a CareSign form

If a signing page sent to you by your care provider does not work for you, ask the agency that sent it for another way to sign, such as on paper, or contact us and we will help.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, email support@caresignhealth.com or call (916) 304-5596. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will get you the information in a way that works for you. Please do not include patient information.
